Easy Crab Cakes - Erren's Kitchen
Making these simple crab cakes from Erren's Kitchen is a great way to enjoy fresh crabmeat. They taste great and are great for a quick and easy meal.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb lump crabmeat, drained
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup finely chopped red bell pepper
- 1/4 cup finely chopped green onion
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions:
In a large bowl, combine crabmeat, mayonnaise, beaten egg, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, breadcrumbs, parsley, red bell pepper, green onion, salt, and pepper
Mix until well combined
Form the mixture into small patties, about 1/4 cup each
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat
Cook crab cakes in the skillet until golden brown, about 4 minutes per side
Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce
